Easy Plantar Wart Removal with Duct Tape

Plantar means having to do with the sole of your foot. Plantar warts are warts that form on the bottom of your feet. Here is an easy non-toxic method to rid you of these painful warts.
You will need: Duct tape, Scissors, Latex gloves are preferable, New disposable single blade razor
1: Wash and dry your feet thoroughly
2: Carefully shave the wart down flat, avoiding non-infected tissue. This step should not hurt or draw blood.
3: Cut a small piece of duct tape to the size of the wart. Apply it directly to the wart. Avoid covering a large amount of uninfected tissue. An 1/8th inch past the wart should suffice.
4: Leave the duct tape on for ten days. If the tape comes off within the 10 day period, replace it.
5: On day 10, remove the tape. Wart will appear whitish. Soak your foot in warm water while scrubbing the wart with a pumice rock to remove the dead skin.
6: If the wart is not completely gone at this juncture, repeat steps 1-5 again until wart has been removed.
Tip: Warts are contagious, so it's a good idea to keep your feet covered in public showers, or schools of dance or wherever a large number of people go barefoot.
This method works best if you address the problem while the wart is still small.

It does seem to work for a lot of people though. But personally, I had very little luck with most of the methods I tried.

I have had a plantar wart for about 6 months now and i am getting it professionaly removed in 4 days yeah
I've had one for 16 years, I've tried all the over the counter remedies, nothing has worked. SDK, how did you rip it out? I would do that but mine is under the skin and hard to grasp.
I had one of these warts on the bottom of my foot and did just that! Put duct tape on it and each day at shower, I would remove it. Along would come on layer of skin, or so it seems. Then one day, I removed it and it had pulled out the entire inside, "seeds" of it. It's healed up and all is WELL!
I agree, my son had an extremely painful one on the ball of his foot that prevented him from running. I took tweezers and pulled out each individul "seed". He actually said it relieved the pain as I took them out. Within a week it was gone. Has never returned.

I have a painful plantar wart right on the ball of my foot with a smaller one next to it. It hurts a lot when i rub my foot against anything or walk bare-footed, and it is very uncomfortable just having it there. I feel like I just want to rip it out! It is below the surface of my skin though and unreachable. It feels like it is deeply into my foot. I hate warts!!
Tried everything....the duct tape finally rid me of this painful annoyance!!!! Put it on last Sunday, left it completely alone except when replacing tape daily after getting out of shower. Been one week and I ripped off the tape today to find that the wart, along with all the dead skin around it just kinda peels off of my foot. Kinda freaky actually how much skin came with it but so far its been completely painless despite tbe huge crater in the bottom of my foot
The problem is I have a planter on my thumb and can't seem to get rid of and still trying to find out how the heck I got one there in the first place
I want to know if it hurts when the duck tape takes the "seed" out?
